Short-Range Outlook for October 2021

Cooler air arriving today will be relatively short-lived, with slightly warmer weather incoming this weekend, but next week offers more opportunities for a cooldown and potentially soaking rains across parts of North Carolina. Weeks 2 through 4 show a generally warm and dry pattern, but with uncertainties such as tropical moisture and maybe even tropical storms just off our coast.
