Allison helps leaders across North Carolina make informed decisions about our changing world. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with everyone from city leaders and federal agencies to business executives and community leaders. Her work is defined by a unique ability to connect climate issues across disciplines, ensuring that resilience is integrated into the core of operations.

Since 2024, she has co-led the statewide Planning for Extreme Heat cohort. Allison also uses creative tools like games and simulations to help people learn climate science and how to stay safe and prepared. With a degree in science communications, she ensures that information is understandable and applicable.
