State Climate Office Cardinal and Station Scout – User-friendly tools for viewing and requesting weather and climate data from across North Carolina. An NCSCO account is required (free to create), and Google logins are supported. Need help using Station Scout or Cardinal? Watch this webinar from Duke University’s Internet of Water.

ECONet Current Conditions – Real-time weather data from the State Climate Office supports Hurricane Helene recovery by tracking temperature, rainfall, and soil moisture to help keep people and property safe.

Decision Support Tools, Info Sheets, and Dashboards

Rainfall, Intensity, Duration and Return for Observations and Projections (RaInDROP) Tool – This tool lets users conveniently explore updated precipitation frequency information for rebuilding critical infrastructure. RaInDROP was developed in partnership with the NC Department of Transportation and the State Resilience Office.
