As August ends with Tropical Storm Idalia affecting eastern North Carolina, we look ahead to September, which will start cooler before warming up by Labor Day. Current forecasts show signs of a hotter and drier pattern for much of the month, but the tropics add uncertainty for our precipitation potential.
